<I/O> is a unique educational and fun tabletop card game about ethical hacking and cybersecurity. It has been designed for ages of 12 and up and can be played just as a fun game, one to learn from while playing or in combination with the teacher package to teach students in school.

 Fun, learn or education

The game is designed in such a way that you could just play it for fun. Go for points and win the game.

For those who want to learn more about cybersecurity and its real threats, you can read the card descriptions or go online to the platform for more information. There is information per strategy and per domain (the title of the card).

The education component is sold separately as it is intended for educational organizations, schools, and teachers. The edu-package will be released for school year 2019-2020 on July 4th, existing out of a teacher handbook, exercises, and student books. (Example is available on the site).

The handbook is designed using the educational standards, meaning there is a goal per lesson, educational means, background information, and exercises. Each lesson, except for the introduction lesson, can be given in 50 mins or extended to a second 50 mins if preferred. The game is used to make it more interactive and functions as a reference to the components addressed in class.

A unique and fun way to teach students about the real threats of hackers, explaining the ethics and difference between what is legal and when it becomes illegal (ethical hacking vs hackers). More important does it address how to secure your information and this in a practical and understandable manner., both for the teacher and student. So you do not have to be an IT wizard to teach this class, just prepare the content and you are good to go.

To support the teachers, our platform is setup where you can get more tips and trucks and interact with professionals to answer questions from students or gain insights before class.
